Mockingjay
By Suzanne Collins.

My name is Katniss Everdeen. I am seventeen years old. My home is District 12. I was in the Hunger Games. I escaped. The Capitol hates me. Peeta was taken prisoner. He is thought to be dead. Most likely he is dead. It is probably best if he is dead…
Mockingjay is the third and final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy.
Katniss Everdeen is the face of rebellion against The Capitol. After their home, District 12 was destroyed; Katniss’ family and Gale hide away in District 13.
When Katniss finds Peeta again, he’s not the same. Katniss realizes that she has to fight against the Capitol for all the fallen tributes and people of Panem, and will have to sacrifice herself and let go of the ones she loves.
I'll tell them how I survive it. I'll tell them that on bad mornings, it feels impossible to take pleasure in things because I'm afraid it could be taken away. That's when I make a list in my head of every act of goodness I've seen someone do. It's like a game. Repetative. Even a little tedious after more than twenty years.
But there are much worse games to play
.
This book is filled with drama and excitement.
I recommend this book for people around 11 – 18, because of violence and themes that younger audiences may not understand.
I rate this book
4 stars, because the first and second books of The Hunger Games trilogy were more attention grabbing and had a better storyline.
